If you are not using cable then you need to scan for channels using a scan to try to pick up the digital over the air channels in your area. You should select: Menu - down to channels - to auto-store - AIR instead of cable - then Digital & Analogue and rescan again.

I am trying to set up a Samsung LE32B450C led tv that has been lying at dads for a while. On trying to get into the tuning menu, the channel menu is greyed out hence I can't re-tune the tv. Instruction manual also suggests resetting 'plug and play' feature in setup menu but this too is greyed out.
I have proved the signal input by tuning in an older Alba led and it now has all the digital freeview channels via a standard aerial connection.
Also in the source list, there is only options for 'TV' & 'Ext' but no DTV option and I remember when re-tuning another Samsung several months ago that there are separate tuning menus for DTV and analogue channels. Can anyone shed any light on what the problem might be or something else I need to do.
